The Obio/Akpor Local Government Council hereby informs and strongly urges all residents to take advantage of the ongoing registration and collection exercise for the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).
This call is directed to:
1. Citizens who have just attained the age of 18.
2. Those who have lost their PVC and require a replacement.
3. Those whose PVCs are damaged.
4. Those who wish to transfer their PVC to a new place of residence.
Your PVC is your power, your voice, and your right as a citizen. Without it, you cannot participate in electing leaders at various levels of government. The future of our community, our state, and our nation depends on the active participation of every eligible voter.
We therefore appeal to all eligible residents of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area to turn out in large numbers, register, collect their PVCs, and prepare to carry out their civic duty when the time comes.
