THE CHAIRMAN OBIO/AKPOR ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EMBARKS ON DAY 2 AWARENESS EXERCISE.

The Obio/Akpor Environmental Sanitation Chairman, Chief Amb Comrd Chijioke Kennedy Akaninwa, and his team have taken action against illegal structures around Akpor Grammar School in Ozuoba.
This move is part of the awareness exercise directed by Hon Dr. Gift Worlu, Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, residents and business owners are urged to adhere to directives, including giving 6ft from gutters and pedestrian walkways.
Akaninwa, while sensitizing the people, urged them to adhere to the directives of the Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Hon Gift Worlu, says selling under high tension is risky and hereby prohibited.
He called on the general public to observe weekly sanitation, keep their surroundings clean and healthy.
According to Chief Akaninwa, ” we will not fold our hands and watch, while our local government is been destroyed.
Chief Akaninwa commended the proactive efforts of Dr. Gift Worlu, praising his unifying leadership style and vision for the people of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
The message was loud and clear, Illegal structures are being demolished at Ozuoba to maintain order and cleanliness.
No more selling on the middle pedestrian, all illegal structures, motor parks, and trading activities are strictly prohibited.
This initiative is part of the “Operation Keep Obio/Akpor Clean” campaign, aiming to improve environmental sustainability and public health across the LGA’s 17 Wards.
