The Chairman of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area Hon. Dr. Gift Worlu hereby announces the immediate dissolution of the Rumuodara Youth Progressive Forum.
This action follows credible reports and security briefings linking members of the executive of the Forum to conduct capable of causing security breaches within Rumuodara community and the Local Government Area at large.
Such actions are inconsistent with established laws and pose a threat to public peace, safety, and order. The Local Government cannot condone any conduct that is capable of destabilizing the community or undermining constituted authority.
Accordingly:
The Rumuodara Youth Progressive Forum is hereby dissolved with immediate effect.
All persons are advised to desist from operating, convening, or acting under the name or authority of the dissolved Forum.
Security agencies are directed to monitor compliance and take appropriate lawful measures where necessary.
The Administration remains committed to inclusive youth engagement and will continue to support legitimate and law-abiding youth structures that promote peace, unity, and development across the Local Government Area.
Residents are urged to remain calm and continue their lawful activities without fear, as the Government will not relent in its responsibility to safeguard lives and property.
