The Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Gift Worlu, through the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Sunny Adibe, has officially presented operational vehicles to principal officers of the council in furtherance of the administration’s commitment to efficient governance and enhanced service delivery.
The presentation, which took place at the council secretariat, was conducted on behalf of the Chairman by Mr. Sunny Adibe, who stated that the gesture reflects the resolve of the current administration to provide the necessary institutional support for effective administration and smooth coordination of government activities within the local government area.
The beneficiaries of the official vehicles include the Vice Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Dr. Joyce Nyeche; the Leader of the Obio/Akpor Tenth Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Rex Milla Abuchi Amadi; the Secretary of Obio/Akpor Council, Barr. Dr. Kelvin Akani and the Chief of Staff Barr. Victor Wokem.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Sunny Adibe reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of Hon. Dr. Gift Worlu in promoting excellence, accountability and effective public service at all levels of the council’s operations.
The beneficiaries while responding expressed profound appreciation to the Chairman for the gesture, describing it as a demonstration of purposeful leadership and dedication towards strengthening the administrative capacity of the local government.
They further pledged their continued loyalty, and commitment towards supporting the policies and programmes of the Dr.Worlu led administration in the overall interest and advancement of the local government area.
