Department Overview

The Environmental Sanitation Department of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area is responsible for promoting a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment through effective sanitation management, environmental protection, public enlightenment, and enforcement of sanitation laws. The department works closely with communities, stakeholders, and environmental agencies to improve public health and maintain a cleaner Obio/Akpor.

To provide effective environmental sanitation services through public awareness, waste management coordination, environmental monitoring, enforcement of sanitation regulations, and community participation.
